Warnings, Cautions and Contraindications
Contraindicated in hyperthyroidism and related cardiac problems.
Contraindicated in patients taking thyroid replacement therapy (thyroxine).
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Bladderwrack may interact with hyperthyroid medication.
Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
 
If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
